OTC Sales Trader / Institutional Sales

Job Requirements

• Bachelor / Master's Degree in Finance Business and/or Computer Science

• At least 3 years of trading/sales-trading experience from a leading financial institution, ideally working with any one or more of the following: digital assets, commodities, equities, FX, fixed income, or derivatives

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and cultivate strong customer relationships with counter-parties.

• Prior experience interfacing with electronic trading systems, front to back

• Understanding of the requirements to successfully operate within a regulated institution

• A strong team player who is also capable of operating independently

• Ambitious, result oriented, strong initiative, able to make independent decision

• Highly motivated, passionate about growing customer-oriented businesses with an entrepreneurial drive

• Outgoing and personable with a passion for the crypto industry, existing crypto experience a strong plus

• Fluent in English, with Mandarin and Cantonese strongly preferred

1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree of relevant field
2. 8-10 years of experience being a product / project manager
Familiar with blockchain, cryptocurrency exchange, or financial products is a plus
3. Understanding of software product development workflow
4. Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate well with designers and engineers
5. Good team player, self-motivated, strong sense of ethics, responsibility, and discipline with good interpersonal skills
6. Fluent English and Mandarin language skills required

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound order flow requests from clients and managing our deal execution

• Engage current and potential business partnerships or new clients for business growth.

• Drive trading volume to OTC desk with a best-in-class service of the highest standard is provided, as well as following best practices for an institutional grade business

• Identify and cultivate prospects, resulting in customer acquisition, retention and revenues in-line with our Business Plan

• Manage the entire trade life-cycle, including client engagement, execution, hedging and settlement, as well as monitoring electronic pricing and monitoring dashboards

• Establish and manage trading book, including risk management, execution strategies, and pricing models.

• Conduct daily reporting of market sentiment, risk exposure, and P&L to management

• Review and improve the current internal trading systems and our trading tech stack
